Five easy steps to
create your own site for FREE!
Step One: Sign Up for
a New Account w/Free Domain Registration
Step Two: Create an
Account and choose user id and password
Step Three: Choose a
template.
Select from among the wide variety of web site templates on this page. To
see the template in a new window, click on the “Preview”
link located below the template you wish to take a closer look at. When
you’ve decided which template you want, click on that image to make your
choice.
Step Four: Create your
Index page
The title, description, and
keywords you choose for this page will be the default settings for all of
the pages you create after this one.
Here is what each field means:
- Page name - what is
shown on the menu
- Title - what is
shown on the title bar of the browser
- Description - the
description that search engines will use for this page
- Keywords - the
keywords search engines will use
- Image - the image
you want to use
- You have two ways of
choosing an image:
- Type in a URL of an
image ex. http://www.domain.com/image.gif.
- Choose an image from the
ones provided.
- Company name - name
of the company
- Header - header for
the page, placed above the body text
- Body - body of the
page
The option at the bottom of
the page, “Allow HTML Tags,” lets you choose whether or not to write HTML in
the body of your page. If you set this to “yes” it will not filter out HTML.
If you use the “HTML Help” to create an image or link, the “Allow HTML Tags”
must be set to “yes”
Once you have completed this
form, click “OK” and the software will create the page.
Step Five: Launch your
newly created page.
