You do not need anything more than a personal computer with
Internet access. IF you do not have an FTP program installed, no need to
worry there are plenty of free ones out there or you can use the built-in
FTP program available in the web-base administration tool.

Yes! We offer 24 x 7 x 365 always-on support via our online
support system, toll-free telephone support and real-time chat. We are
always here to help you no matter what time day or night you need us.

support Microsoft FrontPage and FrontPage server extensions?

Yes, we fully support FP 2000 and FP 2002 on both our
Linux and Windows platforms.

What
are the various types of databases your offer with the plans?

Our Linux plans come pre-configured with mySQL and mSQL.
Should you choose one of our Windows packages, you will receive access to
a SQL server or a Microsoft Access server.

Do you
offer any ready-to-use chat rooms?

Yes, we offer a basic Java-based chat room and a high-end
Volano chat room. You can install other chat programs with permission from
our support team.

Will I
have unlimited access to my site for updates?

Yes. You have unlimited access via FTP 24 hours a day 365
days a year. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your
own computer and upload files to your website any time you wish.

Can
additional domains be pointed to my main domain?

Yes. We can alias (park) additional domains to point to the
same main page as your master domain and it will also share the same mail
system. There is a one-time $25.00 set-up fee and $10 per month for each
domain you add as an alias.

Can I
host domains in the sub-directory of my account?

Yes, by utilizing our Fake IP addon. It is a CGI-based tool
that provides the ability to point additional domains to subdirectories of
your main domain. There is a one-time $35.00 set-up fee and $10 per month
for each domain you add as a Fake IP.

Do you
handle Foreign Domain Name Registrations?

We can house any valid domain from other countries. Domain
Name registration must be handled through a Registrar, asks us about free
domain name registration (Registrar fee’s apply). In Our Online Resources
we provide you with linking to most registration services around the
world.

What
are your Network capabilities?

We operate a privately-owned dark fiber network consisting
of multiple GigE (1000Mbits each) connections to multiple Internet Service
Providers. This gives us the ability to control every aspect of our
transit and turn on additional bandwidth within minutes as client demand
warrants it. Our dark fiber network is built on dual strands of fiber and
is self healing in case of fiber cuts. Additionally, the dual fiber
strands are capable of transmitting over four terabits of data per second.

Operating System and Server Software is being used?

All our Linux-based systems run a customized version of
RedHat with the powerful Apache Web Server and Apache SSL Server for
secure transactions. Additionally, we offer Microsoft-based systems using
the Windows 2003 Advanced Server operating system.

type of hardware are you using?

For maximum reliability all our servers are custom-built
using the best components currently available in the industry. Since there
are constant improvements in the hardware industry, we ensure that we
upgrade all our systems every 3-4 months, thereby providing you and your
customers access to the latest machines equipped with fast processors and
lots of memory and storage space.

What
about accepting credit cards, can I do it securely?

Our entire selection of web hosting plans comes with
complimentary use of our shared SSL certificates. Each certificate uses
1024 bit security to ensure that every credit card submitted on your
website is encrypted prior to the information being sent to you.

Do you
offer any pre-configured CGI-scripts?

Yes, we offer free, pre-installed CGI-scripts on all of its
Linux-based packages. These include FormMail, cgiemail, Guestbooks,
WWWboard (bbs), and guest counters.

Do you
maintain backups of my data?

Yes. We backup your web directory daily on to our tape
backup machines. Additionally, through Admin Panel you have the option to
compress and backup your web files directly. We highly recommend that you
maintain a current copy of your website offline at all times.

Can I
access my domain without the "www" in front?
-
Yes. You will be able to access your domain address with or
without the "www" in front of the domain name. Example: [http://www.your-name.com]
or [http://your-name.com] is acceptable, whichever you prefer.

How
long does it take to set-up a new account?
-
New accounts are set-up within 4-12 hrs from the time we
receive your order. Once your account is set-up, you will be emailed your
Account Login information (User ID, Password & FTP hostname) along with
some useful URLs to help you get started. You can immediately start
uploading files to your new website. Domain account users will be given a
temporary URL to access their site via the web prior to the completion of
either domain registration or domain modification

Can I
compile programs written in C and C++?

Yes, if the account you choose includes SSH/SSH access. The
standard gcc compiler is used.
